Newbridge Community Hub
Newbridge Community Hub formed in March 2026 with the goal of ensuring that Weston Methodist Church is retained for community use. We submitted our application for the church to become an Asset of Community Value (ACV) to BANES Council which has now been approved.
26th November 2026 - deadline to lease / purchase the church
The ACV allows us to protect the church from being sold to another party until 26th November. This gives us time to work on raising funds to either buy the building or negotiate a long-term lease.
Membership
We will be introducing a membership scheme which means you can have a direct say on our future and vote at the AGM - more details to follow on this.

We are a small committee of eight local residents and are keen to involve anyone in our community who would like to help. If you would like to assist us, please get in touch.
